The Fix Burger Bar to open in Marlborough
Worcester's Niche Hospitality Group is expanding to Marlborough, and is planning to open The Fix Burger Bar in the former Allora Ristorante property by November.
Mayor Vigeant has submitted a request to the City Council to fund a shuttle service that would connect Marlborough to the MBTA Southborough commuter rail station.
MassDOT and MWRTA have launched a yearlong pilot shuttle service from the Target Store in Marlborough to Riverside Station, with various stops along Route 20.

Concord Rd, Pleasant St, Beach St, Fontaine St, Kings View Rd, Memory Ln and Forbes Ave will get a facelift after the City Council approved a $4M bond for road repairs. 

Although the $4.6M state-funded project is currently affecting business, local owners are hopeful the improvements will attract more customers in the future.

Property owner Vincenza Sambataro proposes to build 67 residential units, 50 parking spaces and street-level commercial units in downtown Marlborough.

The state Department of Public Health has opened a satellite office in Marlborough, bringing along more than 200 employees.
Chamberofcommerce.com has named Marlborough among the 20 Best Cities to Live in MA. Rankings were based on employment, housing, quality of life, education and health.
Local businesses can purchase “Marlborough Market Money” through the Board of Health office, which they can then use as customer and employee incentives.
The Marlborough Police Department and Chief Giorgi were awarded the Patriotic Award and the Above and Beyond Award by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.
The office of Attorney General Maura Healey will award close to $322,000 in grant funding to provide summer jobs to young adults working in the health and wellness field. 
Mayor Vigeant has announced that the city will dedicate this year’s Marlborough Labor Day Parade to World War II Veterans in honor of the 75th anniversary of D-Day.

Lincoln Property Company has sold its 206,000 SF flex and data center at 34 St. Martin Drive in Marlborough to California-based Menlo Equities.
South Street Business Park in Marlborough has sold for $14.2M. The 145,600 SF multi-use building features warehouse, flex, office and R&D space.
Ciminelli Real Estate Corporation has purchased a 61,177 SF mixed-use office/lab building located at 33 Locke Dr in Marlborough for $6.55M.
