Marlborough receives first AAA rating from S&P
For the first time in Marlborough's history, the city has earned Standard & Poor’s coveted AAA bond rating, which represents the highest level of creditworthiness.

A 33-mile trail, which has been in the works since 2014 and links existing trail systems in Marlborough, Northborough, Westborough and Southborough, will open in fall 2019.

A Waltham developer of senior living facilities is putting the final touches on a 104-bed assisted living and memory care community, expected to open in Marlborough in November.

A pilot shuttle originating at Target in Marlborough and traveling along Rt 20 to Rt 128 and south to Riverside T Station is now connecting commuters to the MBTA.

Boston Scientific has closed the acquisition of spine solutions maker Vertiflex for an upfront cash payment of $465m, plus additional commercial milestones payments. 
Hologic announced it has entered into exclusive negotiations to buy French medtech SuperSonic Imagine, a specialist in ultrasound imaging, for $85M.
Another Marlborough medical device manufacturer is partnering with a celebrity to help market a new device intended to tone and strengthen abs, arms, and buttocks. 

Apex Entertainment is expanding. The company, which opened in Marlborough in 2017, is launching its third location in Albany, New York.

Marlborough-based biotech device manufacturer Boston Scientific has become the newest member of the Healthcare Plastics Recycling Council (HPRC).
For the first time ever, students from Marlborough’s three high schools came together to collaborate on a STEM project at the inaugural M20 Summit.
The state has approved an early college program partnerships between Marlborough High School and Quinsigamond Community College.
Kristin Korecky, a special education teacher at the Crossroads School in Marlborough, received the Excellence in Teaching Award at the maaps Annual Conference.
Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School’s House Carpentry students created 40 birdhouse kits to be donated and sent to Camp Sunshine in Casco, Maine.
U.S. News and World Report has ranked Advanced Math & Science Academy Charter School the #2 best high school in Mass and #111 best STEM high school in the nation.
